Vysoké Mýto - Jungmanovy Sady

They were built on the former rampart and ditch of the medieval fortification in 1873-75 for the centenary of the birth of Josef Jungmann. They are lined along their entire length by a wall (in the places of the former ramparts), into which commemorative plaques commemorating the most important events in the history of the city are embedded. The park is dominated by the Jungman monument from 1911.
