Trip to Egerberk Castle
The goal of our next trip is the ruins of the Egerberk (Lestkov) castle not far from the town of Klášterec nad Ohří. The ruins of Egerberk Castle stand on a conspicuous hill above the right bank of the Ohře near the village of Lestkov, after which the castle is sometimes called. The castle was founded at the end of the 13th century. and was named after the German name Ohře-Eger. At the end of the 14th century it was rebuilt by the gentlemen from Dubé.
