A short afternoon trip 40 km outside of Prague to the wonderful Vyhlídka Máj. The meander of the Vltava can be observed from a vantage point high on the rocks. We parked in Teletín (the place is marked), walked between the cows and the forest (about 10 minutes walk) and emerged from the forest on a rock above the river. The view of the Vltava is breathtaking and you don't feel like you're in Bohemia at all.
