Beech Mountain is of basaltic origin and was planted with beeches, oaks and coniferous trees. The peak is located on the territory of the town of Verneřice, namely its part, the former village of Příbram, located east of the peak. Buková hora with a broadcasting tower is a prominent feature of the Český středohoří, it rises on the right bank of the Elbe above Malý Březn and Těchlovice, from the south it is the nearest village of Zubrnice. The original 1961 transmitter burned down…
