Vsetín - New town hall

  Apart from the Vsetín Castle, the most luxurious building in Horní náměstí is the New Town Hall. It is located in the very neighborhood of the old town hall, i.e. in a row of houses, lining the northern front of the market square opposite the feudal seat. The new town hall was completed in 1899 as a really nice representative residence in the then very "modern" Neo-Renaissance style. M.Urbánek was the author of the winning proposal.
