Vrch Verpánek is the rest of the inlet of the Tertiary volcano. It is an important geological site. Verpánek Hill is separated from Písečný vrch by the road leading from Bělušice to Bečov. Just like on Písečné vrch, the highest quality prehistoric raw material - quartzite - was also found here.
