An inconspicuous hill over which the road from Osek to Háje u Duchcova leads. In the past, the hill was surrounded by monastery hops and thus it was called Hop Mountain /Hupfenberg in German/. After World War I, many sick people returned home infected with infectious diseases, especially typhus. Chmelová hora was far enough from the city, so an isolation house for the sick was built here. There were low houses behind the house…
