The important Grohmann business family came to Vrbno pod Pradědem in 1812, when the son Josef Johann moved here from the family of merchant Dominik Grohmann in Krásné Buk near Česká Lípa. The Grohmann family did business in the textile and metalworking industry, and significant business successes were gradually achieved by the entire branched family, who rebuilt a mansion for themselves in the eastern part of Vrbno.…
