The former city hospital in Vrbno pod pradědem was built in 1770 and later a chapel was added to it. In 1816, the hospital and the chapel were destroyed during a great fire in the city. After the reconstruction in 1858, a girls' school was established here, a religious house with a chapel was built, which was consecrated in 1862 to St. Alžběta, the merciful Sisters of P. Mary of Jerusalem came to Vrbno from Opava. The sisters took over the administration of the girls'…
