Vratěnín - former post office

It is located in the central part of the village and is one of its most valuable monuments. It comes from the time when Vratěnín lay on the old merchant and postal route connecting Vienna with Prague. The first connection between these cities was built in 1526-32. The vast building functioned as an accommodation and catering facility, wagons were harnessed here and there was also the technical background of this important Forman road at the time.…
