Vojan's gardens are considered to be the oldest gardens in Prague. According to the preserved sources, their history dates back to the 17th century, when they were created as part of the Carmelite monastery on the land of the former bishop's court from the thirteenth century. In the middle of the 20th century, they were named after Eduard Vojan - a Czech actor who was born in nearby Míšeňská street. 1954 they were made available to the public.
