The Voděradské bučiny National Nature Reserve covers an area of 658 ha and is at an altitude of 350 to 500 m above sea level. This extensive forest complex - the most beautiful beech forest in the Czech Republic - is located mostly in the territory of the municipality of Černé Voděrady and in the northwestern part it also extends to the territory of the municipalities of Vyžlovka and Louňovice.
