The village of Vlkonice is spread out on the northern slope of Džbán, approximately two kilometers south of Budětice. The first written mention of the settlement dates from 1428. The only district from Budětice to Hradešice passes through here. It divides the village into two parts. The older and more interesting one is in the northern part of the village.
