Above the grounds of the castle in Velké Losiny rises the low, yet quite interesting Strážník hill. At an altitude of 470 m, it exceeds the adjacent terrain by some 80 meters. Although the rather prominent position suggests this, it is generally not emphasized today that the hill on its top probably hides the remains of a guard castle. It was probably not a showy fortress, but a truly military one...
