Velká Buková - village
The picturesque village of Velká Buková is located approx. 12 km southeast of Rakovník, not far from Křivoklát. Around 250 inhabitants live in the village today. The first written mention of this village dates from 1556. The village gained importance only during the 18th and 19th centuries. century, when sulfur was mined in the village. In the village they have a public library and also a cowshed in which they have a milking machine (2016 CZK 16 / l).
