Vela - Natural monument

The natural monument Vela (8,2877ha) can be found in the southern part of the Hostýnské vrchy, about 2km northwest of Lukovo. It is located on the top and the southern slope of Vela mountain (526 m above sea level) at an altitude of 450 to 526 m, Cadastral territory of Lukov. At the top of the Vela mountain, rocky outcrops rise to the surface. The shorter and lower ridge starts about 10m from the top elevation. It reaches a length of 17 m and its maximum height is 3,3 m.
