Vapná - Vycpálŭv quarry

The first mentions of limestone mining in the vicinity of Vápenná date back to the beginning of the 17th century. However, there is no doubt that it happened earlier. With the passage of time, there is a rapid development of mining. From the second half of the 19th century, the volumes of mining in Vápenná were absolutely the largest in the entire Jesenice region.
