Limestone quarries near Sušice.

Buděticko Nature Park is located NE of the town of Sušice. Its area is 44 km 2 and it was declared in 1994. Two geomorphologically different parts extend into the territory. The north consists of gneisses and quartz diorites. The southeastern part is Sušicko - Horažďovice limestones. The first hill in the chain of hills above the Otava valley is Ostrá (556 masl).
