Ski area Snowland, Valčianska dolina
The Snowland Valčianska dolina resort is located in the Malá Fatra mountain range, about 12 km from Martin. There is trouble-free access to the center for private vehicles and buses. The favorable north-eastern slope creates good conditions for skiing and snowboarding from December to March. The SNOWLAND Valčianska dolina center is focused on family skiing with a high level of additional services. Sufficient snow is ensured by the snowmaking system, which covers all slopes.
Snowland offers visitors a new 4-seater cable car with a length of 1320m, an elevation of 330m and a transport capacity of 2000 people per hour and 6 ski lifts with a total capacity of 5700 people per hour. There is a mini lift with a ski and snowboard school for the smallest and beginner skiers. The novelty is the YETI PARK with a children's lift and various fun accessories, intended primarily for the little ones.
During night skiing, all lifts are in operation except for the chair lift. There are also 12 km of cross-country trails in the Snowland Valčianska dolina ski area.
There is a restaurant and several buffets, a ski and snowboard school, a storage room, service and sports equipment rental.
