Ústí nad Labem - Steam waterworks Střekov
A unique technical monument - a steam water plant was built in 1874 on the occasion of the opening of the railway section of the Austrian North-West Railway from Lysej nad Labem to Ústí nad Labem - Střekov and Děčín. The project was developed by the well-known Viennese architect Karl Schlimp, an important engineer and architect born on January 13, 1834 in Veletice near Žatec.
