The castle is one of the monuments of the ancient city of Úštěk in Litoměřice in the Ústí Region. The castle consists of a preserved southern palace with profiled windows from the 16th century. The original castle fortifications have disappeared. Behind the castle is a sloping arched bridge to the former Roudnická gate.
History
Apparently, at the beginning of the 15th century, the lords of Dubé built a castle, which was burned down by Catholic troops in 1428. The castle was restored and as a manor…
