Uherskohradiště Marian column

We often go to "Hradišť," where my wife's mother lives, and the city center is well-trodden, but even so, something new here always interests us or surprises us. On the last visit, our steps led through Mariánské náměstí, whose vast area has been dominated by an impressive plague column since 1721.
