It is a prominent left side waterless valley of the Křtinské stream with a number of small rocks on its slopes. A whole range of karst phenomena has formed in the local Krtina and Josefov limestones. The most important are the local caves, of which nine are recorded here. The largest of them, the Ve Vaječník cave, is located in the lower part of the valley under an overhanging rock wall.
