At Secret Suffering
About 100 m behind the historic limestone (beautifully repaired) near Javorník in the direction of Travná, we find a chapel partially embedded in the rock. Last year (2013) it underwent reconstruction and repair, because it was already in a very sad state, and to top it all off, a tree fell on it.
The chapel was built sometime at the end of the 18th century, probably on the site of an older hermitage carved into the rock. So what gave the place such a mysterious name?…
