A wooden figure in the form of a hunter with a dog has been standing at this place since time immemorial, showing pilgrims the direction to reach Fryšava. On his left hand outstretched towards the exit, he has the inscription: "Go straight behind the nose and you will reach Fryšava". As far as I can remember, more than thirty years ago, there used to be a spruce tree that stood here, and the text with which he directed the pilgrims sounded a little different: "You will go if straight behind your nose, you will come to Fršava...
