Mount Turold, located on the northern edge of Mikulov, can be accessed by a red-marked tourist route that runs along the western foot of the hill and further to Pálava. During the Ice Age, Turold's cave became a human settlement and was also sought after by wild animals. The cave was destroyed at the beginning of the 20th century during limestone quarrying. Its small remnant, about 1100 m long, has been preserved in the southern wall of the former…
