The memorial to the victims of World War I is located in Trutnov in its part of the Old Upper Town. The monument was built in 1 in memory of the war victims. They made it from auracarites - petrified trees on the road near the cemetery. Its deterioration and devastation occurred during communism, the monument was not maintained, the plaques from the monument were gradually stolen and the stones crumbled.
