The three large wooden crosses are a parable of the biblical Golgotha, they were built around 1640 as an expression of the victorious re-Catholicization of the city and the region, which had been devoted to the Lutheran faith for the previous 100 years. The hill is shrouded in numerous ghostly rumors about mazes and the murder of three brothers. There was a restaurant and a special Camera obscura gazebo near the three crosses, in the darkened space of which lights were projected onto the wall...
