Auntie's little track

When climbing the Damil hill, one cannot fail to notice the remains of an interesting technical structure that was located here. These are the remains of the narrow-gauge railway, which for more than seventy years connected the quarries in Koněprusy and Damila with the cement plant and limestone works in Beroun and Králové Dvůr.
 
Limestone was quarried by hand in the vicinity of Tetín, and lime from it was burned in mills and kilns since the Middle Ages.…
