In 1962, the Těrlická water reservoir was put into operation on the Stonávka river as a reservoir for utility water in Těšín. The dam has also become a center for extensive water recreation and tourism. It has three public beaches, a shipyard with boat and sports equipment rentals, the only lift in Moravia and Silesia for water skiing, campsites, children's cabin camps, recreational facilities and dozens of private cabins...
