Teplice nad Metují - Lower Castle

The Lower Castle was built by Baron Zikmund Schmiedl of Schmieden in 1664 in the early Baroque style. The garden wall is decorated with sculptures from Braun's school in Kuks. The south facade of the rectangular storey building is dominated by a pair of portals (the right one is blind) decorated with the coat of arms of the builder and his wife.
