Tečovice - church of St. James the Greater

Tečovice is located about 8 km west of the center of Zlín. 
The village was officially founded in 1141. The most important monument is the church of St. James the Greater from the middle of the 13th century. Originally it was Romanesque, it was gradually rebuilt in the Gothic and Baroque periods. The church has decorations and equipment from the 14th to the 19th century.
There are also holy crosses and a bust of President Masaryk in the village.
By the road to Sazovice stands a baroque…
