Tábor-Mála (Soukenická) bastion

The Tábor City Fortification system was built at the beginning of the 15th century. it was made up of a main wall and a fence. In suitable places, the walls were supplemented by towers and bastions, with which the defenders also covered, among other things, the 6 to 10 m wide space between the fence and the main wall. In the eastern part of the city in Žižková Street, where you can find the Big (Žižkov) Bastion, there is also a partially preserved Small (Soukenická) Bastion.
