Svitavy – U Mouřenina house

The original U Mouřenina house on Náměstí Míru is one of the oldest surviving burgher houses in Svitavy. In 1554, it was built in the Renaissance style next to the Old Town Hall. Originally, the families of Svitava burgomasters lived here.
In the 18th century, the house was converted into the U Mouřenina inn. Why the inn was given this name was not found in historical documents. She only survived…
