The village of Svinná was founded in the 14th century at the latest, in 1379 Bozděch from Mostiště is remembered as the owner of a larger part of it.
The fortress in Svinná was apparently built in the 14th century and was protected by a moat and an outer rampart. Only the remains of the walls and the gate remained from it.
