Holy hill

The dominant feature of the city of Mikulov, the way of the cross from the 17th century leads to Svatý kopeček. At the top of the hill stands the chapel of St. Šebestián from 1623. Holy hill is NPR (37,2 ha). On the southern slopes there is a species-varied rock steppe. Among the plants that can be seen here, we can name the low and sandy iris, Ivan's cavy, and the mountain gorse. On the eastern side, a hawthorn slope climbs, the northern side is wooded.
