Svatý Jan u Sedlčany, formerly called Skrýšovský, village 8 km SW. from Sedlčany in the direction of Kamýk n. Vlt. Baroque pilgrimage one-nave church of St. Jan Nepomucký with a polygonally finished presbytery from 1760 - 64 on a symbolic ground plan of a burning heart. The exterior of the building is richly structured. Valuable main altar with rococo painting, ceiling fresco. Beautiful views from the edge of the forest below the church. They grew in the forest…
