The Way of St. James takes many forms
The Way of St. James, the famous route of many pilgrims, traditionally leads to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. That is precisely where the grave of the apostle James is, which is supposed to have miraculous healing effects. However, almost every pilgrimage has healing effects (if we don't count blisters, swollen feet and strained joints). Healing and purification is the essence of every pilgrimage.
