Mount Svatobor rises about 3 km west of Sušice to a height of 845 m.
Svatobor is a place that was apparently inhabited already in ancient history. Traces of a primitive semi-submerged hut from the Middle Stone Age (10.000 - 8.000 years BC) were discovered at its foot. The cottage was reconstructed according to the available findings and can be viewed in the Sušice museum. A burial ground was also discovered at the foot of Svatobor...
