The town of Šumava built an observation tower, you can also see the Alps

Horní Planá has prepared several novelties for visitors this season. The main one is the recently built observatory in the shape of a decanter, which recalls the glassmaking tradition of the local region. The observation tower is 36 meters high and has two viewing platforms, the upper one at a height of 32 meters and the lower one at a height of 26 meters.
