From the first hayloft in the former forbidden zone, we set off after a tremp breakfast, until we're sleepy, through beautiful virgin forests. We experience an absolute sense of freedom. So far in the SW. Nothing leads in a better direction. We rinse off at an unknown stream and top up the water. An unmarked path then, it rises slightly.
After less than a kilometer, a passable footpath turns left up a steeper slope. It is heading in a more suitable direction, i.e. to the south. Soon…
