Suchá Rudná - the monument to the Sputnik satellite
Few would have expected to meet Sputnik in a small village in the Bruntál region. Although Suchá Rudná has only a few dozen inhabitants - and today it is also only a part of Světlá Hora village - but the legendary first artificial space satellite Earth, which started the cosmic era with its launch in 1957, really has its monument here. This is a ten times smaller copy of the famous monument in Moscow.
