Studenec
Description of the lock:
The village of Studenec is located 7 km north of Nová Paka. The castle is located in the middle of the village, near the church of St. John the Baptist, on the edge of the park. The original fortress, later a manor house, was rebuilt and expanded in pseudo-Renaissance style in 1883. In the 90s of the 20th century the castle was converted into a hotel. However, it is currently out of service and looks quite abandoned. It is therefore not accessible to the public.
