The village of Střeň lies east of the town of Litovel in the protected landscape area of ​​Litovelská Pomoraví and on the left bank of the Morava River. Picturesque alluvial forests spread around the village. Střeň is one of the larger villages in the region with 550 inhabitants. The village is first mentioned in 1249. A marked local cycle path and a green tourist sign pass through the village.
