Shooting range near Semanín

In the past, the local area was farmed as fields and meadows. After 1945, this vast forestless enclave of the Farské les became a shooting range of the Czechoslovak Army. After 1968, it was occupied by the Soviet Army, whose garrison was based in nearby Brodek near Česká Třebová.
