We will also look at Prague, at least in its peripheral part. The baroque complex Skalka is today the center of cultural life, located near Mníšek pod Brdy. The center is the church of Saint Mary Magdalene from the end of the seventeenth century, whose author is the famous Kryštof Dienzenhofer. The interior was supposed to resemble a cave at first glance - well, judge for yourself!

Sacral architecture is literally for everyone, there are more than enough such monuments in the Czech Republic, also because the kings and nobility had a lot of financial resources to build them. In the end, if it weren't for the Hussite wars, the church of St. Barbara should have been twice as large!
