The highest peak of the Pacovská hillock, Strážiště (744 m) lies about 7 km north of Pacovo.
The prominent hill is covered by an extensive forest complex. Below the peak is a mineral spring with alleged healing effects. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary was built near it, which was a well-known place of pilgrimage in the past. At the top there is a lookout with views of Pacovsko, Lukavecko and Želiva.
