Anyone who has ever driven through the surroundings of Bruntál, Rýmařov, Vrbno pod Pradědem, Krnov, but also Jeseník, Javorník, Hanušovice or Králík (and I only mentioned our area on the border of northwestern Moravia and Silesia), could not fail to notice how many large churches stand in otherwise almost deserted villages.
