Moaning

Stonava lies south of the town of Karviná. The village is located on the right bank of the river Stonávka. To the south of the village lies the Těrlicko reservoir and to the southeast lies the town of Český Těšín. Not far from the village in the south-eastern direction, the vast Loucký forest stretches out.
