Table mountain Ostaš

The table mountain Ostaš, which is the dominant feature of Policka, is three kilometers northwest of Police nad Metují. The peak reaches a height of 700 meters above sea level and the surrounding terrain exceeds it by up to 250 m. The name of the mountain probably comes from the name of St. Eustace - the patron saint of hunters.
